Happy Hanukkah...Chanukkah.....Chanukah...Hanukah...

Hag urim sameach! (Happy Hanukkah - whatever way you like to spell it. [Read this article for more on all the spellings].) Today is the first of the 8 days of Hanukkah. If you are looking for some Hanukkah links here are a bunch:
Huge collection of Hanukkah resources at My Jewish Learning.
How to light the candles
Hanukkah service for the home
Text studies on Hanukkah.
Hanukkah and hunger, connecting our celebration with those in need.

Hanukkah music from around the world.

And for an interesting mesh of Hanukkah and Covey principles, Mike has some thoughts.

Hanukkah Food (a.k.a - the fried food festival)
A picture of sufganiyot, yummy filled donuts which appear all over Israel during Hanukkah. (Thanks Rinat for the picture.)
Sufgagniyot recipe
Hundreds, if not thousands, of latke recipes (quite a few of which I made last year - yummmmm.)

May the days of Hanukkah be filled with light, courage and pride for all my blog readers who celebrate Hanukkah. If you don't celebrate Hanukkah, may these dark December days be filled with the light of hope.

Your sister survivor,
