Telling our stories of survival can be cathartic and very important in the healing process. That is one of the reasons I use this blog (even though now it is not very often).
Yesterday, Mike told us about some athelets who have been brave enough to come forward and talk about the abuse they suffered as kids. A new surivor has been added to that list, New York Jets wide reciever, Laveranues Coles. You can read about his journey in an ESPN interview.
Perhpas his courage in sharing in story will not only help other children, but take steps toward preventing future abuse by NFL fans.
