I am off in a few minutes to have lunch with a friend and former neighbor, R. We haven't lunched toghether for a few months and it is amazing how fast the time is flying. R is one of the friendships of my adulthood with few pretenses and with whom I feel comfortable sharing nearly everything. Reflecting on friends like him makes me realize what a gift friends are. To my blog friends and to my face-to-face friends, I say thank you.
UPDATE: We had a wondeful lunch full of yummy salads and great conversation. Thank G-d for friends!
