Starting off the Year with the Story of a Hero

Happy secular New Year.

While browsing the web today, I found the impressive story of Tilly, a smart 10-year-old from England who realized (because of a class at school) that a tsunami was coming. She raised the alarm, she, her family and a beach full of people feld. No one was killed or seriously injured on that beach - because of smarts, learning, thinking and awareness. AWESOME. You can read the story at the New York Post. Thanks to Covington for the original link.

May this be a year of courage, hope, learning and personal heroism for everyone.
Your sister survivor,
Leah
