Small Children & Triggors

While working at Temple Midwesternville today, I heard and saw the joy and excitement of the day camp kids. Today they had the annual 4th of July parade (yes, a bit early) and many were so excited to parade in front of their parents. Seeing little ones brings a mixture of joy and saddness to my heart. I look at a group and think about their potential and all that is ahead of them. I look at them and I also wonder, which ones are being abused, which ones don't live in safety? I pray to G-d that they are all safe and that the ones who aren't (as the statistics sadly tell us do exist) are able to find someone to help them. I hope that all children live with joy and safety today.

Your sister survivor,
Leah
