As my fingers fly over the keyboard, my face beams - with the cold sunlight streaming through the picture window (I love days like today) and - with pride in a friend's accomplishment. My friend N launched her newest volunteer project today - NYC-RapeMap. As you will see when you look at their mission statement, they hope to spread safety information in New York and help to empower women with information and prevent rape and sexual assault. N works so hard on so many projects, that I am proud to consider her a friend!
