The folks over at The Rainforest Site (and The Breast Cancer Site etc...) have added a new free donation cause - The Literacy Site and I have linked to it within the do good online free donations links in the left column of my site.
The idea of free donations online are that you go to a site, click on a link and the sponsors of that site then make a donation to the cause. I think that this process is one of the nice and helpful sides of the internet, so go and donate to places for free!
