Cold weather & feeling safe

Midwesternville dawned this morning (like many recent mornings) cold and bright. The sunlight bounced off the snow and I left my home bundled in warm layers, scarf (from Israel!) around my face, hat on my head and gloves on my hands. I love these cold mornings.

I know, I know. You might think I am crazy to love this cold cold weather. There is just something so clean, fresh and hopefull for me about a chilly morning. Bundling up brings a cozy, safe feeling through me. The bitting cold air rings of newness, cleanliness and hope.

Wherever you are and whatever the weather, I hope you feel safe.
Your sister survivor and thriver,
Leah
